Are you looking for a fun, tropical getaway with plenty of activities for all ages? The Disney Caribbean Beach Resort is the perfect place for your family vacation. We have amazing memories from staying here with our children and we recently passed through the resort for lunch and we noted how much we love the resort, it still gives us a welcoming and chilled vibe.

The ‘moderate’ resort has such a fresh but vibrant feeling, in a relaxing tropical environment.
It has the wonderfully renovated Old Port Royale which is home to reception, the gift shop and Centertown Market Place dining.
And among the excellent Caribbean themed lush grounds there are lots of hammocks dotted around overlooking the beaches where you can watch Disney fireworks from, a spectacular main pool and pirate splash area (plus a number of quieter pools) - this resort has something for everyone whether you’re planning a family trip or a couples getaway to Disney World.

The Disney Caribbean Beach Resort offers comfortable hotel rooms which sleep up to 5 with the majority of rooms having two queen beds and a single Murphy bed which pulls down from underneath the large flatscreen tv, which if you’re travelling with children I’m sure they’ll love this feature and the secret artwork behind it.

The rooms are located in different areas of the large resort, named after Caribbean islands: Barbados, Martinique, Jamaica, Trinidad and Aruba.

Here’s a more in-depth room tour for you:

The resort also has the added benefit being a Skyliner resort, so visitors can utilise the convenient transportation option of Skyliner gondolas (or the Disney park buses) to get to the theme parks and Disney Springs.

If you’re looking for a bite to eat during your stay, there’s Sebastian’s Bistro which is a great table service restaurant or for something more casual you can find Caribbean inspired dishes as well as international faves at Center Town Market, along with with delicious snacks and treats at the grab & go. The Spyglass Grill is also good for a quick service meal.

The Disney Caribbean Beach Resort is full of activities and amenities that will keep your family entertained throughout your stay. As well as the several swimming pools and slides to enjoy, there is a playground area for kids. And don’t forget about the complimentary entertainment on offer at the resort such as movie nights under the stars and toasting marshmallows. We also took part in craft afternoons such as tie-dyeing t-shirts and pillowcases which make great souvenirs!

If you are planning a trip to Florida soon be sure to check out everything this wonderful resort has to offer as it really is an amazing resort, especially when travelling with children.
